Painters Grange

Grange is one of Brisbane's strongest character suburbs. Timber Queenslanders and worker's cottages from the late 1800s and early 1900s, with deep verandahs, VJ walls and high ceilings, typically on blocks around 600 square metres. Council's traditional building character overlay covers much of the suburb's pre-1947 housing.
